Sport Betting Rules
Introduction
These Sport Betting Rules govern all bets placed with Lalabet on sports events, including pre-match and in‑play (live) wagering. They define how bets are placed, how outcomes are determined, how settlements occur, and the rights and duties of Lalabet and customers. They apply to all markets offered by Lalabet unless a market description states otherwise.
1. General Rules
-
1.1 Bet Acceptance and Validity. Lalabet may accept or reject any bet in whole or in part at its sole discretion. Bets accepted in error or where the outcome is already determined by an official decision may be voided. The company may adjust stakes or void bets to reflect an official result or an error in the offering.
-
1.2 Palpable Errors and Price Mistakes. In the event of a palpable error in event wording, odds, or starting times, Lalabet may cancel affected bets or offer correction. Customers have no entitlement to the erroneous price.
-
1.3 Postponed or Abandoned Events. If an event is postponed or abandoned and is not resumed within 48 hours of the original scheduled start, bets on affected markets may be void unless the market description specifies otherwise. If the event resumes within the 48-hour window and is completed, settlements proceed based on the final official result.
-
1.4 VAR-Related Decisions. If a Video Assistant Referee decision contradicts the on‑pitch officials, bets placed in the interval between the incident and the final decision may be void, unless odds offered are unaffected by the VAR outcome.
-
1.5 System Interruptions. In the event of a technical interruption during bet placement or settlement, Lalabet will validate funds and odds and may accept or reject bets when the system is restored. Customers should review their betting history to confirm bet status.
-
1.6 Integrity and Anti‑Fraud. Lalabet may void or suspend bets where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, match manipulation, or breach of integrity, including activities by participants, officials, or related parties.
-
1.7 Limits. The minimum bet and maximum bet limits vary by market and regulatory jurisdiction and are displayed at the time of entry. Lalabet reserves the right to modify limits at any time in accordance with applicable law and internal risk controls.
-
1.8 Market Closure and Settlement. Bets on markets that are closed or suspended shall be settled according to the official result or as described in the market terms. Bets not yet settled at closure may be void where appropriate.
-
1.9 Outright Markets and Play‑or‑Pay. Outright markets (short‑term and long‑term) operate under a play‑or‑pay principle: bets stand even if a listed participant cannot take part, and are settled as losses where applicable. Head‑to‑head (H2H) markets are excluded from this principle. If a listed participant is replaced by another participant in the same team, team markets stand; individual markets regarding the participant may be void as described in the market terms.
-
1.10 Supported Formats. For pre‑match and live bets, Lalabet supports format options such as 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45, and 3x30. Bets on events with durations outside 50–90 minutes may be voided. Halftime duration for 3x30 is calculated as half of total match duration. Customers accept responsibility for format changes as described in the event terms.
2. Settlement, Re‑Settlement and Evidence
-
2.1 Official Result Basis. All results are settled on the official source for the competition. If official data is unavailable, Lalabet may rely on independent sources or internal statistics. In cases of inconsistent data, Lalabet may determine settlement based on best available evidence.
-
2.2 Dead Heat Rules. In events with dead heat, winnings on joint winners are distributed proportionally according to the number of winning positions, in accordance with standard industry practice. Where a dead heat affects a multi‑winner market, only the contracts tied for the winning position are adjusted.
-
2.3 Re‑Settlement and Corrections. Lalabet may re‑settle markets if the official result is later revised by the governing body or if there was an error in the initial settlement. If a bet has been settled and later corrected, balances may be adjusted accordingly.
-
2.4 Non‑Participants and Injuries. If a participant competes but withdraws or is injured, bets on that participant may remain valid unless the market states otherwise. In market areas such as top scorer, injury announcements may lead to voids, deductions, or price re‑adjustments as described in the market terms.
-
2.5 Selections Not Offered. If a listed outcome is unavailable, Lalabet will settle bets on alternative outcomes in accordance with these rules.
-
2.6 Scoreboards. Score screens are indicative; official results determine settlement. Lalabet may rely on official scorers or governing bodies for final results.
3. Market Types and Specific Rules
-
3.1 Scorers Markets. First, Last, and Anytime Scorer bets apply to regular time unless the market description states otherwise. Own goals may be excluded or counted as “no scorer” as determined by official authority. If a match is abandoned after a scorer has occurred, the First Scorer bet remains valid; Last Scorer may be void depending on the stage of play and market terms. Bets on players who do not participate are void for some scorer markets as described in the specific market terms.
-
3.2 Correct Score, Total Goals and Handicaps. Settlements are based on the final score or the stated total goals. Asian Handicap and standard Handicap markets settle according to the applicable base score; refunds or deductions apply as described in market terms.
-
3.3 1X2, Draw No Bet, and Double Chance. Settlement follows the market description; if a match is postponed, abandoned, or not started, affected markets may be void unless the event restarts within the defined window and the market terms specify otherwise.
-
3.4 Other Market Types. Markets including over/under, goalscorer combinations, corners, cards, penalties, and both teams to score are settled per the final official result, market description, and any defined override rules in the market terms.
-
3.5 Outs and Head‑to‑Head (H2H). Outright and H2H markets are governed by the Play‑or‑Pay rule and related terms; replacements and partial participation may affect settlement as described in the market terms.
4. VAR, Injuries and Event Changes
-
4.1 VAR Adjustments. VAR events are treated as having occurred at the time of the original incident for settlement purposes unless the final decision impacts the odds or is described otherwise in the market terms. Bets affected by VAR decisions may be voided or settled based on the final official outcome.
-
4.2 Injuries and Market Revisions. When injuries or related developments materially affect market pricing (e.g., top scorer markets), Lalabet may void bets, apply a Rule 4 deduction, or adjust bets to the next quoted price after market revision, in line with market terms.
5. Odds, Display, and Timing
-
5.1 Odds Display and Rounding. Displayed odds are truncated to two decimal places for the user interface. Total odds are calculated with sixth‑decimal rounding, and the total win is rounded/truncated to two decimals. Any discrepancy is a result of standard rounding rules.
-
5.2 Settlement Window. The maximum time between bet settlement and any required re‑settlement is thirty (30) days from the initial settlement.
-
5.3 Data Accuracy. Lalabet relies on official data sources for live information; if data is incorrect or inconsistent, Lalabet may adjust settlements in accordance with these rules and applicable law.
6. Disputes, Complaints and Compliance
-
6.1 Complaints Window. Claims regarding decisions must be submitted within seven (7) days after the event start time. Submissions beyond this window may be denied unless otherwise required by applicable law or regulatory guidance.
-
6.2 Governing Law and Regulation. These rules operate within Lalabet’s licensing and regulatory framework. Where competent authorities issue guidance or decisions, those will govern to the extent required by law.
